One of the most frequently asked questions we receive from brokers and agents is, “How do I correct my contact information if it is displayed incorrectly on a third-party website?” In order to correct contact information, it’s important to understand where ListHub collects that information. ListHub pulls the contact information for syndication directly from the data source, which is most often the MLS. To make sure the information is correct on third-party websites, brokers and agents need to ensure that the contact information they wish to have displayed on the publisher website is the same as the contact information entered into the MLS, or whatever data source ListHub is syndicating from.
If the contact info in the MLS is not showing up on the publisher website, it may be that the publisher is displaying only the broker contact information and not the agent contact information. By viewing the ListHub Publisher Scorecard Comparison located in the ListHub dashboard, brokers can find out what contact information each publisher displays. Brokers can also control the contact information that is being syndicated for the brokerage by logging into their ListHub account and going to “Settings” and then “Manage Brokerage.”
It’s important to make sure that the personal contact information within ListHub is updated so that brokers and agents can keep up with the changes and updates to the ListHub network including the addition of new publishers, product updates, and much more! Instruct your members to login to their ListHub account today and click the “Settings” link in the upper right hand corner to review current account settings and contact information.
