Realtor.com’s Search-by-School Feature a Favorite among Millennial Home Buyers
The search-by-school feature on realtor.com® allows consumers to conduct a search for a specific school with results only showing homes that fall within that school district. This feature helps buyers quickly and easily filter accurate local school information so they can decide which homes meet their family’s educational needs.

“Local schools are clearly more important to specific population segments – such as today’s millennials, who either have or are planning to have children. High-ranking schools can have a positive impact on home values over time as new families pay a premium for access to better schools,” said Jonathan Smoke, chief economist for realtor.com®.

According to a recent realtor.com® study, fifty-two percent of millennials report that school districts are a deal breaker in their home search, compared with 31 percent of all buyers.

HotPads Reveals New Website & Mobile App
HotPads, a Zillow company, has unveiled a redesigned website and mobile app to make the experience of searching for a property even faster. The new website and app will feature additional tools and features that make the search experience more intuitive.

Trulia Releases Updated Agent Profiles to Connect with Consumers and Grow Business
Trulia recently revamped their Agent Profiles in order for agents to more easily build their online brand and connect with consumers. The new Agent Profiles now include ratings and reviews, larger photos and infographics, enhanced editing tools, and an optimized lead generation form. Consumers are able to search for an agent based on their specific needs and agents can use the profile as a free endorsement from past clients.
