You already know that international home sales in the U.S. are at an all-time high ($104 billion). But did you know that 28% of those sales came from Chinese buyers? The U.S. remains a top choice for Chinese buyers, with California, Florida, New York, Texas, and Washington reigning as the top 5 U.S. markets.
According to a survey by the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate, most foreign investors expect to put more money into U.S. property this year than they did in 2015. Sixty percent of respondents said that the U.S. was the country providing the most stable and secure real estate investments. 46 percent of respondents also noted that the U.S. provides the best opportunity for capital appreciation.
The question is – are these international buyers seeing your listings?
