New REN Publisher

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Joins REN

We are pleased to welcome Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® to ListHub’s Real Estate Network (REN). Last week we also announced renewal agreements with national franchises RE/MAX and Realty Executives. ListHub’s REN includes several websites operated by franchise organizations and other membership-based networks to allow brokers to use the ListHub platform to send their company’s listings to participating REN publishers for display on their national websites. Click here to read the entire press release.

ListHub’s REN empowers franchise publishers and broker networks like Leading Real Estate Companies of the World to index and display accurate, broker-authorized listings on their national brand websites and mobile apps, providing a world-class real estate search experience for home buyers and sellers. Multiple listing services (MLSs) and brokers who have opted in to display listings on this network are able to increase the exposure for their listings on brand name real estate websites and mobile apps while maintaining tight control of where their listings are published.

In addition to creating the opportunity for all ListHub broker customers to advertise listings on these key industry websites, REN participants also share listings with one another, further strengthening the value to each REN participant. The REN rules are available for review here. The rules were developed by ListHub in collaboration with MLS and franchise leadership in 2012.

ListHub will notify our MLS partners before going live with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and also brokers when LeadingRE.com is available in the ListHub dashboard for broker selection.

Why was the REN created?

In 2010 it was decided by the NAR MLS Advisory Committee that franchise organizations would not be permitted to index IDX listings from the MLS. During their review, the PAG recommended that franchise websites should receive listings via syndication instead of IDX, providing brokers with the option to freely opt-in or opt-out of franchise website display.

The Real Estate Network (REN) was created in direct response requests from the industry to provide this functionality.
