That means more than 75% of your emails are never even being read by the intended audience. Bummer!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3399\" src=\"http:\/\/listhubnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/bummer.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some pointers for sending better emails to your clients to increase engagement and improve ROI.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Getting The Open<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To start you want to hook your audience with a catchy subject line that gets them to first open the email. A good strategy to try is using a question in your subject. Questions provoke curiosity, resulting in opens. Here is a few you could try:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When is a good time to chat?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did you see the new listings I sent you?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are you looking to sell soon?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Keep it Short<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Part of the problem with email is that we simply send too many or too much information, and it becomes an ongoing problem. Respect your client\u2019s time by being concise. According to a study by<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.boomerangapp.com\/2016\/02\/7-tips-for-getting-more-responses-to-your-emails-with-data\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boomerang<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, based on a collection of more than 40 million emails, the ideal length of emails should be<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">between 50 and 125 words. Emails within this range resulted in the best response rates at just above 50%. However emails that were too short (under 10 words), received just a 35% response rate, so don\u2019t be too brief.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Provide value<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This might seem obvious but too often we write emails with the purpose of serving our own needs and not our clients. When crafting your email think about how you can provide a unique value to your clients.
