{"id":1626,"date":"2015-07-16T13:36:25","date_gmt":"2015-07-16T13:36:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/listhubnews.com\/mls\/?p=1626"},"modified":"2015-08-25T15:50:27","modified_gmt":"2015-08-25T15:50:27","slug":"featured-market-las-vegas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/listhubnews.com\/mls\/featured-market-las-vegas\/","title":{"rendered":"Featured Market: Las Vegas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This month\u2019s featured market is the greater Las Vegas area, which has seen steady growth over the last year with increasing home prices and local sales. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasvegasrealtor.com\/glvar-reports-home-sales-prices-post-double-digit-increases-from-one-year-ago-june2015\/\">According to a report<\/a> released by Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS\u00ae (GLVAR), both local home sales and home prices saw <em>double-digit increases<\/em> compared to June 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s good for our local homeowners when prices are appreciating at a healthy pace like this and more homes are selling,\u201d said 2015 GLVAR President Keith Lynam, a longtime local REALTOR\u00ae.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past year, the median price of single-family homes sold has increased 10.1% and the median price of condos and townhomes has increased by 5.5%. As for the total number of existing local homes sold, GLVAR reports a 14.2% increase over the previous year!<\/p>\n<p>Nevada and the greater Las Vegas area is also a hot spot for international buyers. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realtor.org\/sites\/default\/files\/handouts-and-brochures\/2015\/2015-05-realtor-com-international-2015-07-06.pdf\">research<\/a> by Omniture Discovery, Las Vegas is one of the top five U.S. cities for which potential foreign buyers have been most actively searching online.
