ACproperty and Properstar have created a new Chinese Property Portal, Sodichan, which will soon be available to all brokers and agents distributing their listings through ListHub. Sodichan, which translates to \u201csearch properties\u201d in Mandarin, is looking to capitalize on the ever expanding appetite of the Chinese buyer for real estate abroad. The portal is designed for these Chinese real estate buyers who are looking abroad and will have over 3 million real estate listings, half of which are supplied by ListHub, the leading provider of listing syndication services and performance marketing metrics in the United States. <\/span><\/p>\n

The two companies say the new portal will close a critical gap in the international property market for Chinese buyers. Sodichan provides support for western sellers by providing a local Chinese based portal in Mandarin, \u00a0the preferred language of the Chinese buyer. Additionally, Sodichan will not only focus on listing properties abroad, but also on helping the Chinese buyer understand immigration and education information.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sodichan is based in China and is ramping up operations as we speak to ensure that when buyers contact us we are there to help facilitate their real estate enquiry. \u00a0We have heard from our existing agents how they are looking for a marketing solution in China that is truly effective. But the Chinese buyer has shown us that their interests are much greater than just Australia and we needed a global partner to develop the market. Yong also added: \u201cNow is the perfect timing to go international. \u00a0At AC property, 70% of our traffic has opted in to receive international property offers. \u00a0We see the interest growing substantially over the coming years. \u00a0Buyers are more sophisticated than before and that means we need to bring them more options and educate them better.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Yong also says, based on ACProperty\u2019s experience in Australia, to be a successful Mandarin property platform, Sodichan will be more than just a website. It will also provide fully integrated property marketing services for Chinese buyers.<\/span><\/p>\n
